CT Cardiologist

A CT cardiologist has received special training in using Computed Tomography (CT) imaging in the evaluation of the heart’s function, valves and blood flow. This is an imaging technique that uses uses special x-ray equipment to create cross-sectional (or slice-like) pictures of the heart and can be particularly useful because it can show bone, soft tissue and blood vessels with great clarity.
