Dr. Wallace joins St. Vincent Heart Clinic Arkansas as a clinical cardiac electrophysiologist. He is a native of Hot Springs, AR, and graduated from Lakeside High School. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology and Religious Studies at Rhodes College, and at Emory University Medical School, he earned a Doctorate of Medicine. He was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa and Alpha Omega Alpha honor societies in college and medical school, respectively. Dr. Wallace trained in internal medicine at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, and he completed a chief residency year before moving to Duke University Medical Center for cardiology training. While at Duke University, he trained in clinical cardiac electrophysiology for an additional three years. He now serves as an Adjunct Clinical Professor at Duke University.

Dr. Wallace is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, and Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology. He is a member of the American College of Cardiology and Heart Rhythm Society.

He has presented original research at the American Heart Association and Heart Rhythm Society national meetings. He has published original manuscripts in Circulation, Journal of Cardiovascular Electrophysiology, and American Journal of Cardiology, and review articles in Clinical Cardiology, Current Heart Failure Reports, and Cardiovascular Drugs and Therapy.

Dr. Wallace specializes in all aspects of clinical cardiac electrophysiology including implantation and management of pacemakers, defibrillators, and cardiac resynchronization therapies (biventricular pacing and defibrillators), as well complex catheter ablations of cardiac arrhythmias. He is trained in catheter ablation of atrial fibrillation (the most common cardiac arrhythmia), atrial flutter, atrial tachycardia, and other supraventricular tachycardias (atrio-ventricular nodal reentry and atrio-ventricular reentry arrhythmias like Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome). He is also proficient in catheter ablation of ventricular tachycardias in structurally normal and impaired ventricles.
